Hints and Tips
Choose flowers and foliage that complement one another in colour and have different shapes to add texture and impact.
How to...
Gather varieties of flowers in bundles, spiralling the stems and tying each separately with a green ribbon or string. Group the foliage together and tie in a separate bundle.
Holding the greenery bundle first, add the bunches of flowers one at a time, making sure to spiral them so the stems all point in the same direction. Add the Singapore orchids last – they have florets all the way down the stem, so they need to be at the front of the arrangement to be seen and avoid bruising.
Bind the entire bouquet together with green string and snip away all other individual ties. Your bouquet is now ready for wrapping or placing in a vase for display. Once in the vase you can remove the tie and let your bouquet sit naturally in a modern, grouped arrangement.
