Twilight at Taronga Zoo concert series, Sydney NSW: Jan 30th to March 28th.

With Sydney’s iconic Harbour as the backdrop, situated in the stunning Taronga Zoo grounds, the Twilight at Taronga series is back with a sensational program of concerts sure to soothe the savage beast in all of us.

Some highlights from the jam-packed 2009 season include –

•   Australia’s own disco queen Marcia Hines with a high energy dance extravaganza;
•   An over the top celebration of all things ABBA with outrageous performances from world-wide sensation Bjorn Again;
•   A night of unstoppable Beatles hits with Australia’s answer to the Beatles, the Beatnix
•   A tribute to those big band gems with arguably one of the best swingster in the country, popular Australian Idol star Carl Riseley;
•   Gorgeous musical theatre star Chloe Dallimore putting on the glitz in a salute to the American musical and Hollywood’s greatest dance duo Fred Astaire and Gingers Rogers;
•   A chance to re-live that Californian sixties culture of surfing, girls and cars at the wildest “beach party” in Sydney with the Best of the Beach Boys show;
•   Glenn Shorrock teaming up with the Barry Leef band to perform the cool and easy riding melodies of the Doobies, Eagles and LRB;
•   A celebration of the free love, uprisings and unforgettable songs with the ultimate 60s Night;
•   James Morrison and his band getting down and dirty with a jazz, soul, funk and blues show
