Ladies its time to Gear Up and get on your bikes because cycling is back in fashion! Entries are now open for the women’s only cycling event, Gear Up Girl Challenge on Saturday 7 March 2009 in Sydney and Sunday 5 April 2009 in Canberra.

Cycling is no longer the preserve of the lycra-clad enthusiast. Eco friendly and great for your health, the bike is the hot new celebrity fashion statement favoured by the likes of Elle Macpherson, Angelina Jolie and Kate Hudson.
With 2 options for each event including a 15km or 55km ride for Gear Up Girl Challenge Sydney and a 20km or 60km ride for Gear Up Girl Challenge Canberra there is something for everyone.
“Cycling is a great way to get active and do something good for your health and fitness.” Donna Little, Events Director of Bicycle NSW said. “It’s more gentle on the body than some activities and something great to do with your girlfriends! The Gear Up Girl Challenge is the perfect excuse to dust off the treadly and get back in the saddle.”
The Gear Up Girl Challenge raises money for the Oncology Children’s Foundation.
