Australian Open Gardens-The Top Place, John’s River NSW: April 18th - 19th

At 11 am and 2pm each day, Meredith will give guided garden walks, explaining how the garden continues to evolve. This will be a unique chance to see Meredith’s ideas in practice.

Meredith is well known as the author of three gardening books: “Dig”, “Plot” and “An Hour in the Garden” and as a regular garden writer for the Sydney Morning Herald and many lifestyle magazines. Her horticultural advice is broadcast on ABC radio, 2GB, 2UE and television’s Gardening Australia.

This will be an exciting opportunity not only to see Meredith’s garden, but also to view for the first time works by award winning photographer Sue Stubbs which have been short listed for the International Garden Photographer of the Year 2009 Competition, winners of which will be announced in May.

Images from Stubbs, including Sue’s Short Listed series, will be available for sale and display during the Open Garden Weekend.

The Top Place is at: 156 Stewarts River Road, Johns River. It will be open between 10am & 4.30pm on April 18 and 19 at an entry fee of $5.00. Children are admitted free.
