Every summer, Australia’s most beautiful parks and gardens are transformed into an outdoor cinema spectacular for Ford Fiesta Moonlight Cinema, screening a collection of cult, classic and contemporary films for all to enjoy.

McHappy Day, one of Australia’s largest fundraising events is aiming to raise $2 million in much needed funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) to help seriously ill children and their families. This year you can raise money for RMCH by purchasing Byron Bay Cookies, Happy Meals, or a Big Mac from your local McDonald’s restaurant.

Family Fun Fair is expected to be a huge event for the entire family with a free Dorothy the Dinosaur show and Jay Laga’Aia. Set in the spacious surrounds of Brett Park, the Family Fun Fair has plenty of room to push a stroller or sit and have a picnic in the park. Established by Justine and John Perkins in November 2006 following the tragic loss of their 8 month old baby, Olivia, Touched by Olivia Foundation aims to help other families by giving children the opportunity to live healthier, happier lives.

Indulge your creative impulses and come to Australia’s No. 1 craft event. There is so much atmosphere that you will be glad that you have four days to enjoy yourself. As well as the usual opportunities to see, try and buy the latest craft supplies and products from Australia and around the world, you will also have access to the Adelaide Bead Fair which will be running in conjunction with the ACQF.

Parramatta will be transformed in November into a cultural hub of artistic creativity and cutting edge art when Riverbeats 08 takes over the city (7 Nov until 23 Nov). In its third year, Parrammatta’s signature cultural event is a 3 week carnival of colour and inspiration devoted to celebrating water and the environment.
