The organizers of Mathilda’s market searched high and low for the finest handcrafted and original baby and kids goods around and invited them to showcase their gorgeous wares.

Held in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth in November 2008, Mathilda’s Market is a shoppers’ haven - it is the IDEAL place to shop for children’s Christmas presents, paintings, unique clothing, toys and other fabulous knick-knacks.

Over 40 000 people are expected to enjoy a weekend of colour and excitement at this vibrant event, which has grown in popularity over the years.  Kites of all shapes and sizes will be on display including some massive character and theme-based kites and spectators will also have the opportunity to participate in a series of windsock, kite and lantern-making workshops.  Indulge your inner child as you watch some of the best national and international kite flyers showcasing their impressive skills.

There’s no better way to introduce your 6-12 year old to French impressionist painting than by enrolling them into Monet Kids at Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens with its spectacular floral backdrop. In a celebration of Spring, the October school holiday program will focus on seasonal changes, colour and light in the Royal Botanic Gardens…and the kids will have fun creating their own masterpieces.
