Celebrate Australia with Hunter Valley Gardens “Australiana” theme school holiday activities designed to educate children and celebrate the heritage of Australia. There will be Aboriginal Craft and Painting, Face painting, Free Australian Flag Temporary Tattoo and an Aboriginal dance and musical performance.

It’s that time of year again; when families and friends of all ages, flock together and create the carolling-crowd at the annual Woolworths Carols in the Domain. This is a free event where all you’ll need to do is pack a picnic blanket and candle, warm up your vocal chords, and free your festival cheer into the Domain of season’s greeters.

Every summer, Australia’s most beautiful parks and gardens are transformed into an outdoor cinema spectacular for Ford Fiesta Moonlight Cinema, screening a collection of cult, classic and contemporary films for all to enjoy.

McHappy Day, one of Australia’s largest fundraising events is aiming to raise $2 million in much needed funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) to help seriously ill children and their families. This year you can raise money for RMCH by purchasing Byron Bay Cookies, Happy Meals, or a Big Mac from your local McDonald’s restaurant.

Family Fun Fair is expected to be a huge event for the entire family with a free Dorothy the Dinosaur show and Jay Laga’Aia. Set in the spacious surrounds of Brett Park, the Family Fun Fair has plenty of room to push a stroller or sit and have a picnic in the park. Established by Justine and John Perkins in November 2006 following the tragic loss of their 8 month old baby, Olivia, Touched by Olivia Foundation aims to help other families by giving children the opportunity to live healthier, happier lives.

Get ready to swing as you and your best enjoy seven hours of non stop music in lush surrounds! Headline artists include: James Morrison, Renee Geyer, Glenn Shorrock, Adam Miller, Force 10 the Air Force Band and Lisa Hunt.
