Renowned make-up artist, Bobbi Brown shares her tips for Olive complexion.

Cheeks: If your skin is light, choose soft, pale pinks. If your skin is deeper olive, reach for plums and rose shades. “Stay clear of orange and peachy shades as they’re too close to your skin tone and will look muddy,” advises Bobbi.

Eyes: According to Bobbi, it’s best to skip shadows that are true purples or blues because they’ll give the eyes a bruised look. She suggests using two palettes: one comprised of everyday neutrals such as brown, caramel and sand and another with trendier shades such as silver, chocolate or gold.

Lips:“The two biggest mistakes are too-bright colour (such as fuchsia) or too-dark lip pencil.” Both will clash with an olive complexion. Bobbi recommends using a light, neutral lipstick with a darker liner that’s blended evenly into the lips.
