Looking ahead - you can act your age, but you don't need to look it.

Here's how to make the most of your natural beauty:

Beauty tips in your 20s

  • Use a tinted sunscreen and let your natural complexion shine through.
  • Use a cheek gel and stain your cheeks and lips for a fresh flush.
  • Go for high-wattage gloss and make your lips pretty and kissable.
  • Maintain a good diet, drink plenty of water and consume antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables.
  • Get enough sleep.

 Beauty tips in your 30s

  • Look for foundations that give you good coverage but don't mask your natural skin tones.
  • Invest in a skin-correct concealer.
  • Lashings of mascara are a must.
  • Look after your skin with a good product regimen, exercise regularly and get plenty of rest.

Beauty tips in your 40s

  • Exfoliate regularly to banish dry flakes that may collect make-up.
  • Use a powerful antioxidant moisturiser to stave off the signs of ageing and prevent further damage.
  • Get regular facials to maintain your complexion.
  • Use an eye cream daily to fend off wrinkles and fine lines.
  • A moisturising foundation is the cornerstone of looking good. Dry skin gives away your age.
  • A rosy lipstick and blush will bring a pretty hue to the cheeks and lips, and keep your face looking fresh.

Beauty tips in your 50s and beyond

  • Invest in a rich day and night moisturiser to maintain the skin.
  • Regular facials will help exfoliate the skin and maintain cell turnover.
  • Exfoliate with a gentle scrub, and don't use water that is too hot or too cold, as it can damage the capillaries.
  • Use a rich, anti-ageing foundation that injects extra moisture and antioxidants into the skin.
  • Invest in an eyebrow pencil - fading eyebrows betray your age.
  • Don't be afraid of using a shimmer blush or lipstick. Look for golden glints to create a soft radiance.
